Subject: Axon CMA Connectivity issue when running on DHCP network
Some customers have reported an Axon CMA connectivity issue when running their servers on a network with DHCP assigned IP addresses (Such as when operating an Axon with Art-Net). When trying to access Configuration settings or Content information, and error dialog will appear stating: ‘Unable to Connect to Remote Server’. This issue was caused by a BETA build of software, build 1.5.0.1704.
If you are experiencing this problem, follow these steps to correct the issue:
- Power down the Axon server
- Connect the Axon to a network with an active internet connection
- Power on the server and allow it to fully boot
- Check CMA connectivity
These steps will correct the issue permanently. After the issue has been corrected, do not load build 1.5.0.1704 on the Axon.
